MITCH ENRIGHT: " .... I like the idea of being able to help turn around the program and do something that hasn't been done in 20 years or so: to help SMU go to a bowl game."

DAVID ALLISON: " .... I went to the Texas Tech game, when (Tech) tried to run up the score. When Coach Bennett threw the headphones down and went across the field -- that showed he's not going to steer you wrong. He's in this with the team all the way. We talked for a few hours, and I told Coach Bennett I wanted to be Mustang."

ADRIAN DIZER: " .... I can hold up against the run, but my main thing is rushing the passer. I can come off the edge like a bat out of .... nowhere."

PATRICK HANDY: " .... If you perform in practice, you'll perform in games."

I'm pretty sure Coach Bennett wasn't thinking about recruiting when he headed over to the TT bench, but I assumed it helped galvanize the team behind him.
