Rivals now reports that Texas Tech has offered. The article reiterates that he had a good time on his visit to SMU and got a chance to learn a lot about the school.

New Article on Rivals:
Blake received an invitation to play in the All-American Bowl game.
Still has only Tech's offer (why we are waiting is beyond me) and would like to stay in state for college. Will be attending Nike camp at TCU and summer camps at UT, A&M, Tech and SMU.

Then we should offer. Grades, desire and it looks like the physical attributes are there. Go Mustangs

Rivals story reports that he is leaning towards Tech because of the football program and the college.
Side note: Blake ran a handtimed 4.36 forty and broke a school record for the 100 yrd. dash at 10.42.
This seems like a good kid to extend an offer too

Rivals is not always correct.

either are you or any of the multitudes of "insiders" getting information from the coaching staff. The kid was quoted YESTERDAY as saying he was getting the most attention from SMU and Tech and then in the next sentence stating "I am leaning toward Tech a lot" What part of that is difficult to understand?-is it part of the grand Right Wing Rivals' conspiracy?

Trust me, in this case I would prefer Rivals and myself to be incorrect. Blake seems like a serious talent. But all we can believe right now, is what the kid is formally saying in interviews.

For all of you who do not subscribe to Rivals, a lot of what they post on a player comes from some school's website. The quote our hero Stallion is mentioning above was posted on Rivals from something that was said on RedRaiderSports.com. What would you expect him to say? No, Stallion, this is not a conspiracy, just a note to make sure everyone knows the source of the comment, which you chose to disclose.
