Dandy Don's LSU Recruiting News reported on 3-24:

"Walk-on QB Jordan Reever is no longer on the team but is still in school and will likely transfer to a Texas school next fall most likely SMU."

I wouldn't put too much weight into the Dandydon site. He got that info from me...and while I hope it's true, it very well could just be a rumor.

Reever is no longer listed on the LSU FB Spring Roster.

And I was told he attended one of the spring practices a few weeks ago. I was just wondering if anyone local had heard/seen an article on where he's going next season?

Does this man hurt your football team?

The top player in the game that has yet to make a verbal commitment may be West quarterback Jordan Reever from South Garland. Reever was courted by Syracuse last summer and this past fall set a number of school records for the Colonels. Just as impressive is Burleson lineman Tyler Ribitzki, who was offered by Kansas last fall but may waited too long to answer the call from the Jayhawks and now finds himself, like Reever, looking for a Div. I-A offer.

Per Stallion: Walk-on quarterback Jordan Reever is no longer on the team but is still in school and will transfer to a Texas school next Fall, most likely SMU. There are two walk-on quarterbacks on the team, Jeremy Bunting (6'2", 200) from Tioga and James Welker (6'4", 215) from Tarana, California. Michael Peterson from West Monroe, a UL-L signee in 2002, is a walk-on at linebacker and as a deep snapper.

Is that a new story? Is Ribitzki looking for a place to play?
He's supposed to be pretty good, isn't he?

wasn't SMU the school that Ribitiki turned to at the last minute for a scholarship but we never offered so he went to UTEP. I really can't recall. Anywhere I read somewhere that he is UTEP's No. 1 returning Offensive Lineman.
