Spring Game recruits

As I mentioned on the football board, I actually walked through a group of recruits, reading nametags and trying to figure out who they were. I scribbled down some names (while trying to maintain some level of subtlety). Now I jumped around on the internet, trying to ID some of the guys. Rivals and scout.com turned up some info on some of them, others turned up nothing, meaning I may have written down the names wrong or they aren't high-level prospects, etc. Anyway, here's a few guys whose nametags I saw (numbers and schools other than SMU are from the internet recruiting services -- some had SMU listed, others didn't. If they were at the Red-Blue game, though, I'm guessing they have some level of interest or curiosity):

Paris OG Michael Booker
6-3, 290, 5.4
Iowa, Oklahoma State

McKinney WR Casey Cooley
6-3, 205, 4.6
North Carolina, Wake Forest, Baylor, TCU

Someone named "Fox"
If that's North Crowley TE Jason Fox (as has been mentioned here before), then he's listed as 6'7, 250, 4.8
Arkansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas, TCU

A rather small guy whose nametag (I thought) said "Ng." The closest I found on the internet was safety Michael Ngo
5-9, 165, 4.5
Houston, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Iowa State, Oklahoma State
I don't know that this is who I saw. But the size was about the same.

Klein Oak (Bryce Hudman's school) LB Greg Carlson
6-4, 220, 4.6
Texas, TCU

Highland Park OL Chris Olson
6-5, 280, 5.2
UTEP, Vanderbilt, TCU
(At least I'm assuming that's who it was.) Big kid wearing the "State Expectations" (Highland Park football) T-shirt. If that was him .... he's got the body for the job, that's for sure. He's got a big frame with long arms. He looks like he could add a lot of weight and strength.

Thank goodness you have no life, diehard. Thanks for the update.

The Carlson kid sounds impressive, and I've seen him mentioned on some internet reports. With D.D. Lee and Rico Harris graduating next year, LB will be a priority. Sounds like this guy and Justin Smart (is that his first name? He's from Marshall, Texas), are legitimately interested in us, and I gather they're decent players.
