John Ford
Offensive lineman
Sequin, Texas
Height: 6-4
Weight: 300
40 time: 5.5
Bench: 300
Squat: 350
Clean: 280
Vertical:'19
From: Seguin, Texas
High School: Seguin

John Ford has the kind of attitude you love in a lineman. "I hit 'em hard out on the field," he says. "I am a determined player."

He has now attended junior days at Colorado and SMU. "This summer, I will probably go back to Colorado's one-day camp. I might also go to TCU's."

His current top five includes the CU, Texas, Colorado State, and SMU. "I have always followed Texas so I really like them, but I am open to everybody right now."

He plays offensive tackle at Seguin, but most likely projects as an offensive guard.

Ford carries a 2.4 core GPA and scored an 890 on the SAT. He would like to major in History with a minor in Education.

Is that an 890 on the new SAT, which is out of 2400? He may have some work to do if he wants to go to SMU. If he weren't an athlete, he'd have a hard time getting into UT w/ those grades.

WHAT?? I have two 13 year old daughters that just took the SAT not the pre-SAT so... They made 940 and 950 at thirteen.

This may not be SMU material. and yes, BIG MEN rule the day but I don't know about a 890.
