I know that we have some grey shirts from this year but how many more can we sign?

I already know most need to be BIG MEN. Ha ha

I'm guessing about 18 scholarships, after normal attrition rates.
If that's accurate, I'd like to see 7-9 of BUS's big uglies.

If the numbr is 18 I would hope that 40% is the big guys.

I like the way Bennett is building this team. You do know he had, and has, a lot of work to do.,

How many underclassmen have been offered, if all should accept? What distribution by position would that be?

I think few underclassmen have been offered. I expect the number will rise significantly after the camps.

Speaking of which, when are they due to begin?

I'm very unimpressed with our big men right now. Our O-line is soft, passive, and just not nearly athletic enough. Lets hope it gets better, can't get much worse.

Clearly you've never met Justin Boren or Martin Guidry.

Well, David, coaches are always looking for walk-ons.

I'm sure you still have some elgibility from that career of yours--- so, step up & see how 'soft' the O Line is (or is NOT).

So you want 7.2 linemen in this class?
Interesting plan!

Does either of the rising senior QBs have a red shirt year available?

I think there is a chance Romo might redshirt, maybe a medical from back when he was in JC. I wouldn't put too much confidence in what I just said, it just seems to me I heard something along those lines.
