Baylor lands 7-1 center, one of the top five juniors in the nation! Another private school (in frickin' Waco) that is getting it done!

maybe as Stampede says they are cheating their [deleted] off-don't know-never heard that on the recruiting grapevine but Baylor has placed itself in position to compete for CHAMPIONSHIPS in the Big 12 in about 2-3 years. The athletic program in almost every sports is headed in the right direction. Think they clinched another Big 12 Championship yesterday in Baseball. According to Rivals he is the No. 4 Center in America and rated No. 30 Nationally. What's more interesting is that they've managed to turn unparrelleled national media negative publicity and turn it around so quickly while on the other hand SMU handled its disaster by basically deciding to play Ivy League Football.

Thanks for that last line. It really helped. There's no reason to merely talk about the Baylor recruit or the Baylor program when you can add a little zing to your "analysis" by badmouthing SMU. And while we're on the subject, you say SMU handled its situation by deciding to play Ivy League football. When did Texas and Arkansas and the other teams we played right away become Columbia and Brown?

The Baylor staff works very [deleted] recruiting. They already have half of their 2006 committed with pledges from 2 Top 100 national recruits.

Nice! If we can start something of a feud between Baylor and A&M on PonyFans.com, perhaps the athletic programs at each school will become so wrapped up in proving each other wrong that they'll forget to hold practices, and our Ponies will come in and knock off both of them!
A very clever plan hatched by our own ALEX LIFESON.

:D SMU doesn't need any help to beat Baylor. I expect SMU to beat Baylor with ease, and then Baylor to come to Kyle for a revenge game. I can't wait because Coach Morris was stupid with his comments after last year's game, I expect to win 80-0.

Just want to point out how highly unlikely it is that Baylor would be cheating in any form or fashion after the embarassment over the last few years. Of course its easier to claim that, than actually give Drew and Baylor credit.

And for the Aggy, do you really have any room to speak? First, they currently have bragging rights over you in football. Second, doesn't Martellus Bennet's dad work for A&M now or something like that?

Ya, top basketball recruits love to play for the annual Big 12 doormat  Drew pays his players there is no way around it. As for football, I will take one loss in twenty years. As for Martellus, no his dad doesn't work for A&M, that was a rumor spread by the sips outta jealousy. You are confused, you are the one with no room to talk.

The annual Big 12 doormat? What was A&M's conference basketball record one year ago?

Stallion nailed it! Look what Baylor can do with the right AD. If Baylor can do it in Waco why can't we do it in Dallas!!

Typical aggie reading comprehension so let me spell it out for you. One year ago, you were the 0-17 Big 12 conference doormat, swept by Baylor (and everyone else). You run along now.
