KEITH TOSTON
Ht: 6-1 Wt: 175 40: 4.6
Position: RB, S
Projected as: RB, S
Angleton, Texas

Biography:
JR Season Stats: Rushed for 1,529 yards on 226 attempts for 15 TDs and caught 9 passes for 36 yards as a junior.

Angleton RB Keith Toston is another good-looking prospect coming out of the state of Texas this year. Toston has been a name that’s flown under the radar on the recruiting scene but hasn’t escaped the sight of college coaches around the nation, nor the Scout.com Preseason Texas Top 100 where we currently have him ranked as the No. 56th-best prospect overall. The Scout.com All-American invite currently has 8 offers, but from whom?

The Angelton RB, who we list at 6-1, 175 pounds and with a conservative 4.6 (40), just might be faster than that. Kid can move. And for that reason, Toston has already collected 8 official offers, from schools such as Arkansas, Colorado State, Iowa State, Kansas State, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, SMU and UTEP.

The Angleton Texas product also said LSU could be close to offering…

“Keith is big, strong, fast, agile, determined, and extremely competitive.” Angleton head coach Joshua Potter told Scout.com

Toston’s Camp Agenda: He wants to attend a UT mini-camp and is penciled in for the Scout.com All-American Combine May 22nd at Baylor University’s Floyd Casey Stadium.

Schools of Interest (Toston reports medium interest in each):
Arkansas (offer)
Colorado State (offer)
Iowa State (offer)
Kansas State (offer)
Oklahoma State (offer)
SMU (offer)
Texas
Texas A&M
UTEP (offer)

Cra$, we're debating online the Marketing predicament at Spirit Shop while TCU hosts the football stud "NIKE CAMP" & BU gets "SCOUT.COM" Combine.

Could we get the Cox School to give a Marketing Seminar to the Athletic Dept?

Didn't we host one of those camps last year? I suspect they move these camps around to avoid being accused of "favoritism". Of course, it also depends in large part on what shoes the coach puts on our players.

Well, our guys wear the in-demand Nikes. We need to host one of these camps - every year, if possible.
And yes, we did host one, either last summer or the year before.

Best thing that can happen is that these kids see Amon Carter Stadium...jeez, why would anyone want to play there?

There's a lot of logic in that statement!
