Remains unchanged...still will be camping at Baylor and SMU both and keeping his options wide open.

Update: SMU is one of the teams listed as "coming on strong" along with Tech and Iowa but it appears SMU definitely has not offered. Offers from Arizona, Boston College and Kansas. He'd like an offer from Oklahoma St. Good example of a kid that does well in school with a 3.4 average but has a marginal SAT of 820. I believe that makes him a qualifier-assuming he had his core grades-but barely because of the SAT. If accurate that is probably the reason SMU hasn't offered.

Early prediction: Burley #2 ends up a Mustang!

In a new story on rivals, he lists Kansas, Oklahoma State and Mizzou as his top three. But he also says he'll visit other schools (without naming said schools ....)

A guy (Baylor grad/fan) in my office says Baylor is out of this race. He reads all the recruiting stuff on the internet, and he says he doesn't buy the idea that those three schools have the edge. I don't know what he bases his opinion on, but he says Burley will be at SMU with his brothers.
It would be nice if this guy is right, for once.

Saw this on rivals:

Burley has three touchdown catches in three games."It's not going real well right now," Burley told PowerMizzou.com. "We're 0-and-3. One of them was a close game, the other ones we just didn't play that well."
The team has lost to Kemp, Aubrey and Graceland by a combined 44 points. Burley, though, leads the team with seven catches for 281 yards and three touchdowns. That is a dazzling 40.1 yards per reception.

SMU can't offer a scholarship to a kid who's brother is on the team with a 3.4 and a 820 SAT, but Boston College a school that is academically superior to SMU can offer Burley. Makes no f'ing sense at all!

If we haven't offered him and his grades and test score are as reported by Rivals, grades would not be the reason we have not offered him.

We have offered him, per rivals.com:

"As it stands right now, Burley is being recruited by Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Boston College, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and SMU. The 6-foot-5 wide-out has offers from the Wildcats, Sun Devils, Bears, Eagles, Jayhawks and Mustangs."

rivals says he's visiting Kansas this weekend.

Hopefully they'll get more hung up on Garland (Lakeview Centennial) WR Terrell Turner, who's also visiting this weekend.
