I guess that means we're back in Craig James' good graces? I don't know if his son can play, but it can't hurt to have an alum like CJ get a little more involved.

how can Craig James' son put TCU on his list? I'm not disputing they are a better program right now, but cmon.

I agree, although the Frogs weren't the hated foe when his dad played. Texas isn't on the list, and I expect he grew up hearing Dad talk about the hated Horns, although it's possible they just have no interest in him. But Tech's not on there, Baylor's not on there, Houston, Arkansas .... I bet Dad has had a few things to say over the years about which teams he likes and dislikes the most.

I wouldn't spernd too much time worrying about that-James is 6-1.5, 210 and only runs a 4.75(confirmed). He's a longshot to even get a Division 1A scholarship.

The "confirmed" times always make me wonder. If a guy runs a slow time at a nike/rivals/whoever camp, like the Dallas DT who's committed to TCU, that's "confirmed," right? But if he runs an "unconfirmed" time that happens to be faster in front of the coaches, that's the time they'll use when deciding whether to recruit a guy. Or am I missing an obvious step here?

Yeah, you'd think so. But then again, that's a little small for a DT, even if he is only beginning his senior year. Is he quick enough to play DE?

according to an article in Rivals today-the only schools showing interest in Singleton are Colorado St, SMU and SHSU. No offers. If Colorado St offered today he would accept. He runs a glacierly slow 5.68 forty confirmed by Rivals. GEEZ -he only weighs 258 (confirmed) by Rivals. Wait until he loads up to 300-we would be able to time him in the Forty using a calandar rather than a stop watch.

Check that on James' forty time. He participated in the Nike camp in apparently all events EXCEPT the forty so that 4.75 Forty is actually unconfirmed.

If he is that slow, then why is he an area top 100?

Does his technique make up for his lack of speed? If this is the case, will his technique transfer from HS to Div 1?

Lots of questions about this guy.

I've been trying to say for 10 years that recruiting players from the Bottom of the Area Top 100 will get you right about where we are today. Mediocracy.
