SMU in Final 7 for Lewis

Kelvin Lewis the son of kevin "Ice" Lewis narrowed his list to 7 schools today including: USC, Auburn, Virgina, UTA(yes UTA he likes the coaching staff) Vandy, Charlotte, and SMU. He did note his father's career at SMU and specifically stated "I like them". Anybody get the feeling SMU will either get an entire class a top recruits all from the Dallas area or we will strike out with this group completely.

How the hell did UTA make that list?
Hadn't thought about it your "all or nothing" way. Interesting, though.

If you pick UTA over SMU, Vanderbilt and Virginia, I guess you're banking on an NBA career?

He's either going a hell of a long way from home or he's coming to SMU. I really dont think he'll play at UTA, so we are really his choice in the region. Tulsa thought they had a good shot at him, but apparently not. Having said that, given his background with a dad who has been an assistant coach all his life, I doubt moving away scares him.
