I hope there were a lot of stud recruits at the TCU game. What a show they saw. A great game. Great fan/student support. Great boulevard. Great post game celebration.

This is the kind of display that would really stick in a recruits mind.

I especially like the way security handled the post game celebration. Let the students on the field to celebrate with the players. What an awesome sight. Huge party and mass of people all over the field. The TCU players had to go across the field at the south 30 yard line and along the west wall to get to the tunnel.

Saw a bunch of recruits coming into the stands before opening kickoff (same as the week before).

Compared to last weeks group:

[1] More recruits visiting than week prior;

[2] And 2 monster guys that would make the BUS "BIG UGLY TEAM".

Congrats to the team & coaches!!!

according to Texas Football that would be Joe Holmes 6-2, 280 originally from Corsicana

If he's the center for Navarro, doesn't that mean he still is from Corsicana?

Doesn't somebody have a name or two of the recruits from the TCU Game?

Well, the other thread says Eskridge (Rockwall QB) and Jesse Funk were there -- but I don't know any more than that.

I was told, however, that there were over 200 at the Baylor game. If we matched that number at the TCU game .... that was a game EVERY recruit should see! Made the drive home quick and easy.

Sorry, I haven't posted this yet...

There was a recruit in front of me... a grandson of Doak's (Wolcott's cousin), a linebacker, first name Buddy... don't know his last. If his experience was the same across th board it bodes well...

At the beginning of the game I asked him if he was coming to the Hilltop, he said he didn't know. He was still deciding. As the game wore on he was having more and more fun.... at the end of the game, I said, now I know you're coming. He responded (something along the lines of, "You bet your [deleted] I am."

Wouldn't count that as a solid verbal, though. :wink:
