Oh man... anouther one of those "stay tuned" posts...

at least it's about women's b-ball so it won't keep me up late at night... that's not a dig. It's the truth.

And I have to admit, the "stay tuned" posts usually turn out to be true, in some way... even if sometimes dissapointing.

It's not that I don't care about women's basketball (okay it is), I do hope the team sees some marked improvement (not that I'll be seeing it)... I actually really did enjoy going to the women's games when I was in the band (and we played at their games). The cool thing I noticed was that women's basketball was actually a better brand of basketball then the men's game. Not simply the "Imagonna' take it to the hole even if three defenders are on me" stuff, but good passing, good defense. Fun to watch, and I wish 'em well...

But, I for one, am sooo much more interested in women's soccer. Favorite things: Hot girls. Check. Soccer. Check. Great team. Check. Oh baby you know what I like...

When I worked for the football team, I spent more time at the women's soccer practice then the football practices. Never got to fulfil my childhood dream of dating an SMU women's soccer player... oh well, maybe I have a few more years of "eligibility" on that one...

But back to the intent of the post... In general, basketball is one of my least favorite sports. Save for March Madness.... believe it or not I did watch a few UConn games when they had Taraussi... I know that I would watch (on TV), if SMU made it to the women's tourney.

Just think how good a recruiting class Rhonda could have put together with the endorsement of all the Dallas High School coaches....................

guys, i was in maryland this week and toured the new comcast center coliseum that comcast built for maryland to play bball in. saw the end of the womens practice. i want to make one thing perfectly clear: if our coaches are EVER competing for a recruit against a school with this kind of facility--they win. at the very least we should have had major facelift on moody ten years ago. no excuses. i think we have two good coaches who would do a lot better on level playing pad.

100% correct. There is no valid excuse for not having done something with Moody by now.
