now that we are setting our sights a little lower its been reported that SMU has offered G Ronnie Moss 6-2, 190 from North Crowley. Only other offer is UTA but he reports he made an UNOFFICIAL visit to OU and also receiving strong interest from OU, A&M, Auburn and hearing from TCU, Penn St and Southwest Missouri St. He is a 3 star but doesn'nt even make the Texas Hoops Top 100 which is strange-wonder if he's a move-in or something.

Stallion, speaking of setting sights, check someone out for me. If not too much trouble look up a Junior QB from Springdale, Arkansas, Shiloh Christain. His name is Matt Simpson. Before last week he had 126 completions out of 208 attempts. 24 TDs and 5 interceptions. 3 of the interceptions came in one game in which he also had 4 TDs. He is 6' 1" and weighs 205. Getting good pub in Arkansas in an area of the state that also has the #1 rated QB nationally (Mitch Mustain). Simpson's private school is in 3A which is not real big time being its Arkansas, but I am curious if this kid is getting any kind of write up yet. If not too much trouble I would appreciate a check on him.

yes he's already in the Database along with a move-in transfer named Shaffer. They say he's 6-1,200 and say he should get someone's Division 1A attention but they don't rank Juniors yet in Football.

I think Moss is just a junior. Check the 2007 list..

he is listed in the 2006 Database on Rivals which would make him a Senior but listed as the No. 56 player in Texas in its affiliate TexasHoops.com in the 2007 class

I'm fairly sure he's a junior. And alot of schools have him on their board. Rivals may have their wires crossed.

Careful -- someone's head might explode if you challenge the undeniable authority of rivals.com.

Hit a little close to home? I was kidding.
Relax. Sorry if that was "overboard."
