Anyone know where we are on these two guys from 2A Scurry-Rosser? They are both area top 100 and a October 30 DMS article indicated they have a strong intetest in SMU (travel a lot and am just now catching up on old newspapers).

Burley likes our players and coaches, because his brother being on the team has allowed him to get to know pretty much everyone in the program. We are not, however, a slam-dunk, by any means. We're in it, but he's collecting offers like they're going out of style. Don't know much about Lang, or where we stand with him. I think we have a better chance with Burley, but that's a guess.

Wonder how a winning streak helps the thought process for these two! Come on, fellas -- time to build that Scurry-to-Dallas pipeline.

Burley's coach says his top 3 schools are Kansas, Arizona and Missouri. Right now Burley himself mentioned 3 trips-Kansas(this weekend), Missouri(next weekend) and Arizona(1/13).

with any kind of luck, he'll weather a blizzard in Lawrence. Has anyone ever been to Tucson at any time of year? Park anywhere on I-10 from Junction to Fort Stockton to Las Cruces to Tucson and the scenery doesn't change. And as for Missouri...for the life of me, I'm still trying to figure out how they consistently do so well. They got the SLC QB, and have had several high profile signees the last few years. They also generally start every year with high expectations, then fizzle. Have Burley go see these bland, nondescript places...then come on back home. And stay.

Well said, RGV.
