Does somebody know about this kid from Denton HS?

He was quoted in DMN about being orally commited to SMU.

I know I have not been on ponyfans much since UTEP game, but I was not aware of this commit.

I don't see him listed on Rivals.

Where did you see that listed? I just went through the DMN website and didn't see any mention of it/him.

First-team all-District 5-4A (defensive line).

Also played some linebacker. That had better be his projected college position, because the Denton roster lists him at 6'1", 195.

Listed on their roster as a WR as well.

Must have some pretty good speed.

Projection another 20 + pound and retaining the speed.

Cool - another linebacker.

add 50 and we have a DE.

Ad nothing and we hope he is really fast and can JUMP and we get a DB or safety.

We do not get the cherry picks, guys, so we work hard to develop our recruits.

Is he not listed on Rivals at all? Maybe he's a recruited walk-on.
