Did anyone notice that the 2 Star Rivals TE from Celina (Tx) has SMU, Oklahoma State and Baylor as a medium interest but no offers? Oh by the way, he is on the Army All-American West team. Am i missing something?

Because he played for Celina and with Craig James' son he will not get an offer. Try to be smack towards Craig since he was pissed we didn't recruit his son hard enough.

He's a very average TE for a 2a school.

Rivals reported from the game practices today confirming that he has no offers. I bet someone somewhere gives him a shot. Rice would actually be a nice fit since he plays baseball.

I thought it was because he's not very big and not very fast.

Hey, I wasn't trying to be disrespectful, but it's out there, it's public information. Rivals has him at 6-2, 230, 4.6, which frankly is bigger and faster than I thought. Maybe he'll get an offer after all.

did he play LB in HS too? 6'2 230 4.6 ain't bad for an LB

Good thinking. Hadn't thought of that.
I'd never say he's as good an athlete as his dad was -- I don't know, I've never seen him. But if he inherited his dad's versatility .... maybe that's a possibility.

The James' have great family genetics in baseball. Craig was an outstanding player in high school and his little brother, Chris, played for the Phillies for several years.

Let's not try to force something on a young man(Adam) that may not really be fair to him.

We all like Craig James and want the very best for him and his family. He is part of the SMU fanily and will be forever.

If we only had baseball.... another good player from the Metroplex we could get to play at SMU.

Come On...

He has to be a mustang fan. His dad loved his days at SMU, he is a 3 star on rivals rated 5.5. Then notes from the Army All-American bowl talk about how well he has been playing and about how he will have offers very soon. Why don't we offer him now, we should carry on the James tradition, hasn't Craig done enough for us already.

No he is a 2 star rated 5.2 and coming from 3A that may be generous.

How is Adam James doing in the All-Star Game?

Adam James was rated 3 stars by Lemming in his summer 2005 prep football report. "One of the most underrated TE prospects in the southwest. On Film - He can do it all and may be the most complete TE in the state. He's a sure handed reciever with outstanding blocking skills who can run with the ball after the catch. He can hold the point of attack when blocking, shows good quickness off the ball, and knows how to get open. He caught 20 passes for 402 yards and 8 TDs in 2004. His GPA is 3.8. Benches 265 and has a 31"VJ."
