I didn't know we cared. I saw Stanford, Duke, TCU, Baylor, etc...but never saw or heard SMU either interested in him or vice-versa, save for some people on the board saying they wished he would come here.
I'd rather have Burley anyway.

Too skinny, might only be the 2nd best WR on that team anyway

Not a big surprise, is it?

Good for him & 1 less scholarship to give from FW U.
BTW, did he even catch a pass in the 5A Championship?

Clint will fill out in college just like the rest of us did. TCU got a very good pick up here. I don't feel bad because his Dad is a legend over there.

I played High School ball with Merton Hanks and they said he was too skinny. Now if you call him skinny he will pop you with his Super Bowl Ring.

I wish him all the success in the world .... on the TCU track team.
Hope he loses every game in football (sorry -- I just don't like their football team. Never have, never will.)
Since we never were in the mix, I don't see this as a great loss.

He would have been a good catch for us and will excel at TCU.

I just don't see it. I just don't see him being as good as Reggie Harrell or Cory Rodgers, by any means. Good luck to him. By all accounts, he's a good kid.

He was out with some type of injury. Also, even at 165 lbs (if accurate), he could easily be up to 180 a year from now. Assuming he redshirts then I doubt his size will even be an issue. Don't know how good he will be but I'm not worried about his weight.

Clint might add 10-15 lbs, but that's about it. His dad and grandpa were skinny too.

Did Merton Hanks start his freshman year? Clint doesn't help SMU in the next 2 years.

Who would go to TCU over Stanford & Duke? I don't care how good their football team is.
