Alex Wacha update

Postby me@smu » Thu Jan 12, 2006 2:43 pm

Alex Wacha is visiting us this weekend. Rivals doesn't show us having offered him, however, from comments in a new rivals report, sounds like we are in a good position with him if we want him.

I was pretty surprised to see this kid ran a smoking 3.97 40 shuttle time which was tied for first among all DBs(43 in all) and tied for 8th among all athletes(302 in all) at the Ft Worth Combine.

Are you serious? 3.97? Any chance that could be a typo and really was supposed to be 4.97?
If that's right -- that's cookin'.

No its included in a list-1 thru 43-so it appears to be accurate. Now this is the 40 shuttle not the 40 dash.

unfortunately I also notice he only ran a 4.72 40 yard dash-I wonder why such a big discrepancy.

Even better: rivals says Phillip Burley ran a 3.9 shuttle.
