Not sure if he took the extra two core courses required by SMU either.

He wrote his CORE was 2.8
His GPA is 2.34
Now I am not impressed with that, but if you look at the trend of his JR and then even his SR year, his grades are MUCH improved.
He had a bad SOPH year at under 1.8GPA

I think he is using SMU to sandbag his academic qualifications because other schools know that SMU are nitpicks for that sort of thing with athletes. Unless somebody ponies up (no pun intended) some proof of his commitment (and SMU's commitment to him) other than ESPN, I am inclined to think this guy is persona non grata.
