Yeah, in a closely-guarded display of dramatic theatre, PB strolls out with Darrell Arthur, mentioning that while it's football signing day, he thought he'd do JT a favor and bring along another signee.
Wouldn't that be nice?

Yes, there should be one, maybe two names tomorrow that haven't been posted here to this point. Neither is a high-profile name of someone who has been committed elsewhere, but at least the "more likely" one was a pseudo-sleeper who was extremely productive at the 4A level. I'll come back with a name if I get actual confirmation today.

Yeah, that surprise rocked the SMU community on its collective heels.

Hey, he is the grandson of Doak, which means we are charged by God to give him a scholarship as we are all descendents of athletes within three degrees of consanguinity.

PonyPride,
Are you talking about Kelvin Thompson, since I noticed that his school was 4A in one of the Rivals writeups on him. He would be a great catch!

Again, I don't have confirmation from the players themselves, but I'm now under the impression that we'll get one of the two. Sorry to be vague, but until confirmation, I can't report it. Stay tuned....

Nope. I don't know that he will or won't come, but his is not one of the names I'm hearing. (You're right, on paper at least, Thompson sounds like a talented player. I don't know where he'll end up any more than anyone else does.)

haven't read that he has committed yet.. boy he would be a great pickup--doesn't play corner but could return kicks like jonas rutledge
he is a breakout player period

I realize that rivals puts him at a 2 star and 5.3, but no offers should tell you something. Intriguing prospect, but I always judge players by the offers they get, and if he qualifies and doesn't have offers, there is something going on?
