If SMU goes to a bowl game next year, the beer is on Billy Joe.

Will our QB play be good enough to win 7 to 8 games? Given our returners and the schedule we could do that. I do not think SMU goes to a bowl with 6 wins. We need at least 7 and maybe 8 to get an offer.

Save some money and hide it now. With OK QB play and not any key injuries, I am ready to accept Billy Joe's hospitality.

You bet. We will have the biggest pre-bowl game tailgate party the state of Texas has ever seen. We are long overdue as SMU fans. We all disagree at times on this board, but we all want the same thing...wins and bowl games. Is aiming for a BSC bid a little too optimistic? Hell, let's shoot for the Fiesta bowl! I may even throw in some snacks as well.
