including players ranked No. 12, 14, 17, 24, 42 and 50 in Lone Star Recruiting's Top 100. 5 of them are OLM. More expected shortly. They should be full by June.

Geez, yet another failed recruiting year for the Mustangs. I am sure they were all between UT and us.

Please educate me Stallion. Exactly what is "Junior Day" and how does UT get commits at Junior Day. Didn't we have a "Junior Day" at SMU and our coaches are not even allowed to be seen. Is this some different kind of Junior Day?

You're thinking of the rivals combine that was held at SMU - that's where our coaches weren't allowed to show face. But just about every school has a junior day, where 11th graders are invited to meet coaches, check out the campus/stadium, etc. SMU started doing it a few years ago, and I gather we've gotten a few recuits out of those groups. Of course, UT has its pick of just about any kid in the country, which coupled with the Rose Bowl win means Stallion's right - they'll fill their class in the next few weeks.

Thanks, that was where my confusion came from...I thought the rivals combine was called Junior Day. Now that I am a little better educated, I have to ask, have we had our Junior Day yet and if not when is it scheduled?

Well that did it! Stallion has convinced me to stop donating to the Mustang Club, and I will not renew my football season tickets either! I will try to be like Stallion, a miserable, negative, lonely, know it all.

I have no idea where in Stallion's post that it was miserable, negative, or lonely...
also if you quit showing to the football game then you quit on your school.. you can't just give up on your team when they are low..they did improve this year.. if UT fell into a slump..i doubt many would quit on them.. You can show you true colors by supporting your team through thick or thin..
Are you Red and Blue...or are you letting them mix...
Your donations are you choice..cause i don't know how much you donate..if you don't want to donate to the Mustang Club..they are other organizations on campus to donate to like the Diamond M Club.
I bleed Red and Blue, separtely

I would actually be willing to be that there would be quite a few current UT supporters that would suddenly forget who Texas was if they went into a slump. They are just fortunate to have 10,000+ undergrad classes which makes it a lot easier to keep a stadium full.
Of course as long as Mack keeps getting top ranked recruiting classes a slump might only be a nine win season.
