Although scarely though, every single one of those guys either is/or had interest from nothing but BCS schools and either Houston or UTEP......

Voted to ban you - what you write is way too provocative for the internet.

i am not a rivals expert but i thought that the only players that are ranked are the top blue chippers in the class of 2007. I am sure that these guys will all turn out to be three and four star players

They will be now just because they committed to A&M.

They always were top prospects-your uniformed additional comments may please YOU but demonstrates to others depth of your ignorance of the topic. Heck we have talked about the RB from the Valley since he was a Sophmore.

Well of course they were, but as YOU have often commented yourself, the ratings and stars of recruits are indeed affected by WHO is recruiting them...so where am I wrong or "uninformed" in my comment?

you're damn right they are affected-and should be. If UT and A&M basically get first choice at the trough then their evaluation should hold particular weight because they could recruit just about everyone and chose to offer these particular recruits early. SMU would have offered every single recruit UT and A&M have offered if SMU could get these kids to even answer Phil Bennett's telephone calls.

I wanted to vote "Abe is lame", but that wasn't an option.

Except for those he didn't bother to call because academics stipulated that he couldn't get them in. I doubt that would be the case with many, but surely there are a few. Talent-wise, you're right -- most would look good in red and blue, although there always will be a guy at one school or another that some coaches decide is worth recruiting and others might not want, for whatever reason .... system, etc.
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"
