Rice and Texas Tech get their first commitments

According to the Dallas Morning Nitwits, Plano Prestonwood quarterback Wil Norris commited to Rice. Sachse offensive lineman Blake Emert (6-5, 270) and Oklahoma City Millwood wide receiver Tramain Swindall (6-2, 175) committed to the Red Laiders.

What IS Plano Prestonwood? Is that a new school?

If you guys didn't know, Wil Norris is the son of Woody Norris. Woody was in charge of marketing and sales for SMU Athletics a few years back. Just an FYI.

I think Plano Prestonwood is the private school that is part of Prestonwood Baptist Church. They built that huge church and campus up in Plano a couple of years ago, and I believe they have a school there too.
