How many kids will we sign this year?

with the report that Nyam has been released from his letter of intent, do you think Doherty will sign anybody with these three scholarships?

I bet Coach Doherty snatches one recruit everyone assumes is headed elsewhere, or finds a JUCO. Considering his reputation as a stellar recruiter, I personally hope that's what he does. We'll take our lumps next year, but he has a chance to put together a class that could have a bigger impact than any of us have seen. That doesn't mean he has to land a class full of Darrell Arthurs .... but if he snagged 5 or 6 Willie Davises and one "how did SMU get him?" guy, he could jump-start the revitalization of the program right away. Personally, I think he should hold every scholarship he can, unless a stud falls in his lap. There's no reason to sign a guy just to sign a guy, and then end up wasting four years on a sub-par player.

I believe MD said that exact same thing in when talking about Nyam's release.

EDIT: fixed typo.

If they are headed somewhere else, they've already signed a letter of intent unless they're a late qualifier.

I am predicting self-imposed sanctions of two scholarships. Convenient sanction for this year!

Just thinking you should have given "4" as one of the options just to see whose on top of things!
