2007 QB Recruit Josh McKinley
Posted: Thu May 11, 2006 8:49 pmAccording to Rivals, SMU just gave the quarterback from Leander (Texas) High School team his first scholarship offer. 
Josh McKinley is 6-foot-1, 200 pounds and runs a 4.5 forty. He's earned all-district honors for multiple positions on offense and defense. McKinley was very excited to get the offer.
He likes SMU's program, the great campus, and the education that SMU can offer.
McKinley says that SMU wants to give him a start at quarterback but haven't ruled out other possible positions as well. Other schools recruiting him include Oklahoma State, Iowa, LSU, Texas A&M, UCLA, and many others.
He says that he's not ready to make a decision on his college choice just yet.
