How cool would this be?

Rivals reports that there's a point guard (6-1, 170) outside of Chicago (class of 2007) who's "quickly becoming a legitimate Div. I-A prospect." He's considering Illinois, Kentucky, Marquette, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Loyola-Chicago (offer) and Wright State .... so far. His dad is pretty good friends with our new coach.

Player's name: Jeffrey Jordan.

where did rivals find this guy? I thought Ponyfans thought of him first. Doherty was speculated to possibly bring inspirational visits from MJ and his son. Must get recruit! No doubt this kid would fit in at SMU, right?

Not that we need any overly involved parents or grandparents, but lets make an exception for Jordan.

Wonder if Coach Doherty could get him and talk his old man into paying his tuition, to save a scholarship.

This is the average jordan kid, the frosh is the real player. So that gives us till 2009 to get into the final 4.

Fine -- sign this guy, get Dad on campus all year (if he goes to his sons' games), and then snatch up junior, too.
Get Mike on the phone, Coach D!

And hopefully MJ can give a more accurate analysis of his sons' talent than he did when he jumped the tracks with that Kwame Brown pick.
