QB Brock Mansion

This is a big kid (6-5.5. 227, 4.75) from Episcopal School of Dallas who's been mentioned in connection with SMU on almost every list I've seen. Scout.com says he's been offered by Cal, Mississippi State, Baylor and UTEP, and that SMU and OU are very interested.

What schools did ESD play this year?

Do you know if he can take a hit? A real hit not a church league hit.

I am not saying anything about the quality of education at ESD ( it's GREAT ) but I have never met a tough kid ( boy kid ) from there.

most importantly ... you are forgetting Texas... the dmn article i read a ways back had Texas and OU on his list.. favoring OU.. i doubt we have a chance, unless he has some smoking hot gf in dallas and he wants to follow her... i.e. craig james..

lets not get our hopes up...remember matt nordgen... 6-5 230 out of bishop lynch.. granted he was behind vince young, but he never would have played at UT anyways...

Rivals no longer lists us in the program with interest from Brock. They do have multiple articles of discussions with his dad where he makes no reference to SMU but does mention about four or five BCS programs that have either offered or are showing high interest.

IMHO - he isn't a mustang come signing day

With his name, he was born to play QB for SMU.

Nordgen would've started every game here for the last four year if he'd chosen to come here.

And the Eagles thought enough of him to give him a shot in camp.

They also gave Dan Freiburger a shot. Sometimes connections score a tryout for a guy.

Sounds like Brock is high on Cal and Alabama. He has an offer to Cal and hoping/praying for alabama.

Better go to Alabama versus Cal as he must not be the sharpest pencil in the drawer - he is classified as a 5th year "prep" at ESD.........................

again that's because of his transfer from Plano-he's just too big to play QB in Plano's offense.

Poop!!!!

I was looking forward to a guy named Brock Mansion playing QB at SMU.

I already had the DMN's headline "It's a brand new Mansion for the Park Cities"
