Went to pick one of my daughters up from band camp ( no jokes ) and saw about 100 guys in orange shirts out on the practice field.

OSU camp for little people. I say that because there was not one person over 240.. maybe 220.

Talked to a dad from Rowlett and his son is a DB, his brother or cousin went to OSU and was drafted by minnisota.

I talked up PB and SMU and closed with the offer to come by and tailgate with my family.

He did say that his son was getting some stuff ( letters ) from SMU. He also said that they both were at the UTEP game last year and we knocked the crap out of the Miners.

Go Mustangs

Is that legal? I thought there was some kind of regional restriction - schools having to hold camps on or close to their campuses, etc.

Otherwise, I'd assume you'd see a U$T camp and an aTm camp in every town in the state.

No restrictions except for timing. TCU had one camp at Katy & one at Kilgore this summer and in the past has had camps at LaMarque, Hightower, etc. The HS coaches generally set it up with the colleges.

...nothing wrong with band, BUS..my three girls are all in the band...have 4.0 GPA's, no drugs / booze..have tons of friends from all aspects of high school, seems that while band kids tend to be "labeled", most seem to go on to Vandy, Tulane, etc., vs. mississippi state, with all due respect....would rather have a "bandy" v. a pom pom girl...long live The Hub of SMU Spirit.
