Class of 2007 breakdown: defensive backs
Here's the second installment on the Class of 2007. Today we highlight defensive backs:
Top area defensive backs
1) Greg McCoy, Woodrow Wilson: McCoy follows teammate Sergio Kindle (Texas) as a top defensive prospect. In fact, when I saw Wylie and Woodrow play last fall in the playoffs, I thought McCoy was the best player on the field, with Kindle also out there. McCoy is fast and tough, important qualities for a shutdown corner.

Eric Dickerson had transportation issues once.

Yes, let's hope he gets the car from Kansas and then comes here anyway.

Mangino will probably entice him with food while he is up in Lawrence. I doubt Mangino can even fit in a sportscar.
Willis to slot receiver!

I got a report from a source I trust implicitly who said McCoy is now almost 180 and has been timed electronically this summer at 4.4. I expect him to be very heavily recruited before the process is complete.
