recently received offer at SMU camp. Only offer so far so SMU is his favorite. Has apparently been familiar with SMU Coaching staff since he was a freshman. Was being recruited by the likes of Arkansas St. and Memphis. Also Northwestern and Iowa have been involved. He appears to want to play QB in College-no discussion of whether he might play other positions. Threw for 2,375 yards and 21 TDs as Junior at Sulpher Springs but has transferred to Springtown. He is a Coaches' son. The height was verified at a Nike Camp two months ago. He claims an unverified time of 4.6 in the Forty.

Rivals lists 4-Casey Stengal, Nathan [deleted], Justin Johnson and Logan Turner. Of course, there are about 10 in Texas who are equal to or better than all these guys who have looked elsewhere. Take that back, Johnson and [deleted] should be considered Top 10 types.

Josh LeRibeus and Terrance Ganaway looked elsewhere, too.
