I'm always on the lookout for some talent that might be a little bit under the radar. Trinity H.S. Receiver Marcus King might be a name worth remembering this year. If you haven't seen him play, here's a link to one of the local sites that has some good video on him. Would love to hear some feedback on this kid.

Rivals lists two receivers named Marcus King, but neither is at Trinity. One is in Arkansas and one is in Illinois. Maybe he moved in to Texas?

TexasFootball.com lists him as 6'2" and 175, and has him on its "Ones to Watch" list for this season.

Another site lists him at 185. Interesting stat on that site: 15 catches for 467 yards (31 yards per catch) and 7 (!) touchdowns. Trinity doesn't throw the ball much, so those numbers are a little skewed.

Video clip makes it look like he needs to get stronger, but looks like he has decent hands.

Interesting prospect, does anyone know if he has any interest in SMU? Or possibly what our coaching staff thinks about him? Thanks, GO PONIES!!!

He is a 4.75/40 guy and is concentrating on improving this summer.
