here's another great looking prospect much like David Neill who SMU appears to have a real shot at. Reportedly just ran a 4.82 Forty(at only 245 pounds though) at the Baylor camp on a "natoriously slow Baylor track". Offers from SMU, Baylor, UTEP and UH. However, his favorites are A&M(childhood favorite), OSU, SMU, Baylor, and now add UH. Also getting looks from Rice, Florida, Tulsa and Louisiana Tech. Of course, they all mention academics but he does appear to be serious about getting a quality degree in political science from a good academic institution-pluses he says for SMU and Baylor. Also wants to play close to home so parents can see him play. Much like Neill he anticipates being a DE/DT whose body may-and probably will mature into an Offensive Lineman. Commitments from Neill, Scotten and Turner would certainly improve the athleticism of our lineman. Neill and Scotten in particular have the size and mobility that could one day play on Sundays although Scotten still needs some physical maturity to get on the field since 245 pounds on a 6-6 frame make him appear almost skinny.

Again, I hear the coaches like this guy and David Neill a lot, and envision both as massive DTs.

Good gosh.. who wouldn't like kids with this size and supposed athletisism. Not to offend Hoofprint.. but you sound a little like "Mr. Obvious Man"
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

That's true, he does! Although, to be fair, I took his comment to mean that they were projected as DTs instead of DEs, which had been mentioned as an alternate possibility.

It will not get deleted until you declare the hot women to be conservatives or liberals.

Stop talking about hot SMU women and start posting pictures!!! Everybody knows recruits base their decisions on reading these message boards and all we got to show is some headless TCU chicks on the football board!!
Come on SMU chicks, show us yourselves here and help the Mustangs back to football respectability!!!
(I did not say get naked this time, so maybe it'll get past the censor)

Come on, guys, the webguys do this site for us on their own time. What's the point of making them waste time babysitting threads? Personally, I'm damn glad this site exists and is still free.

I don't know if Horseshoe has a sense of humor or not, but I tend to agree. Once in a while might be funny, but it's repetitive as hell.
