Technology v. NCAAwhile last year Instant Messaging was the new Technology that the NCAA is trying to decide how to legislate-perhaps this year it will be Myspace. Noticed that the entire Aggie Coaching Staff appears to have their own personal Myspace websites with video highlites and fight songs. I thought just about every athlete was warned about the horrors of myspace. Does a contact by webblog constitute a contact with a university representative? For example, there is a link to a kid from Harker Heights linked to the Coaches website announcing his commitment and encourgaging all other players receiving an offer to do likewise. How about Aggie fans that have responded to this kid congratulating him on his commitment although he is not eligible to sign until February. What is the difference between a telephone contact and a myspace contact through telephone lines.
Re: Technology v. NCAA
They are Aggies. Maybe they thought they were signing up to be Astronauts.
