What happened to our stimulating thread about whether posters on this board actually dissuade recruits from coming to SMU??? Many thanks to posters like 2112 who cannot participate in a thread without resorting to profane personal attacks. Way to show well for SMU!!

I would guess it was Logan Turner's father. He is a football coach from Springtown.

My guess would've been the father of the HP lineman who was written about in the DMN today. He listed some BCS schools that showed interest; I don't recall Turner listing some BCS schools.

I just don't remember us talking about the HP kid.

I figured it was QB, because everyone is skeptical about his size. I also figured that his father was some kind of coach, because he took the recruitment process really seriously & personally (not that he shouldn't).

I believe it was the parent of a signed recruit, so therefore not Turner or the fella from HP.
