Lake Dallas LB lands in-state offer

A versatile athlete in the Dallas metroplex to keep an eye out for is Lake Dallas linebacker/running back Justin Hill, who has picked up his first in-state offer.
"Rice offered me after I had been to their camp," Hill said. "I guess they really liked what I did there. I also went to camps at Oklahoma State, SMU and Rice."

The 6-foot-0, 195-pound Hill is not quite through with his camp tour for the summer.

"I plan on going to Tulsa this Saturday," Hill said. "They've been recruiting real hard and have talked about offering too. They are actually recruiting me as a running back and everyone else is recruiting me as a linebacker."

As a junior Hill earned all-district defensive honors as a junior. He also plays running back for his high school team where as a junior he rushed for 930 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also had over 200 yards receiving and one touchdown.

"My favorites are Rice, Oklahoma State, SMU and Kansas," Hill said. "I think I prefer waiting and taking my visits before I decide. By waiting there may be some other offers that come in too, so we'll just wait and see."

I met this kid's mom in March. She is really focused on education, and was very bright.
