Greg McCoy Profile
Recently Dallas cornerback Greg McCoy of Woodrow Wilson has exploded onto the scene with a nice list of offers and hopes to get his decision out of the way sooner rather than later.
"I haven't really picked up any new offers, it's pretty much the same ones," McCoy said. "Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have been recruiting me more lately though. Miami has also picked things up some too."
As a junior McCoy was named first team all-district. He collected three interceptions on defense and scored over 10 touchdowns on offense as a junior.
"My three favorites are probably Oklahoma, Iowa and Miami," McCoy said. "Iowa is definitely my favorite of the schools that have offered. I am really like Oklahoma a lot though."
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound McCoy didn't spend a lot of time on the camp circuit this summer.
"The only place I really went was SMU," McCoy said. "I went there a few times, one time was a camp. It is just right down the street so transportation there was easy and it wasn't to other places."
If McCoy has his way, he will committed sooner rather than later.
"I want to try and decide early," McCoy said. "I just want to make sure that some of these schools that have offered don't fill up and I lose my spot. I used to think I was going to wait a while, but now I look at it differently."
