If this name has been posted, let me know. A quick check of the recruiting board didn't indicate it. Could have missed it.
The facts:
Jeff Brooks
Doss High School, Louisville, Ky
6-8, Power forward/Small forward, Sr.
Averaged 21.3 ppg as a junior
According to Scout.com, we have offered as well as Clemson, Georgia and Va. Tech. Ky. L'ville and NC State are interested but have not offered.
Looks like an intriguing kid.

Found this in the Louisville Courier-Journal:
----------------------------------------------------------
Perhaps the most talked-about player wasn’t even attending the game. Doss’ Jeff Brooks has seen his stock soar in the recent weeks.
The 6-foot-8 Brooks was named camp MVP, All-Star Game MVP, South Division MVP and won the Slam Dunk competition at the Blue-Chip Camp in Georgetown and was named the MVP of the Five-Star Camp in Philadelphia.
“I’m starting to see a lot of mid-major (colleges) say ‘Keep us in mind’,†Doss coach Shawn Purlee said. “They know what’s going on. This is the first summer he’s been able to get out and let people outside of the state see him.â€
Purlee said Brooks is “excited and pretty much open to anything right now.â€
And it’s a good thing because the calls are flooding in. Purlee said he’s already heard from Cincinnati, Virginia Tech and Clemson among others and noted he was expecting a call soon from Georgia.
Oh, and Brooks is also going to be given a hard look in an upcoming event in Las Vegas by several members of the staff at the University of Louisville. He’s played some pick-up games at U of L and fared well, and word filtered back to the staff.
“U of L has shown some interest and they want to see him in Las Vegas,†Purlee said, noting Brooks will participate in the adidas Super-64 shootout in Vegas. “I think he has always has that potential, but I think he’s finally playing to it.â€
For anyone who hasn’t seen Brooks, he’s a very athletic, lanky forward who will likely be able to play a three position in college. He played last year at Doss after transferring from Shawnee.

And from kentuckypreps.rivals.com:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jeff Brooks, a senior at Louisville's Doss High School, has been on a summer tear and his stock is rapidly climbing. In two MVP camp performances at in-state Blue Chip Camp and at Pittsburgh's Five-Star Camp, the 6-8 slender and athletic Brooks showed scouts and college recruiters his newfound aggressive play.
Scoring with a strong post game and a much improved midrange game, Brooks has some top colleges such as Louisville taking interest. Western Kentucky is also said to be highly interested in Brooks' services and other schools are following suit. Brooks finished a strong tourney in the recent [deleted] Sporting Good's Big Shot Tourney in Myrtle Beach and impressed scouts and coaches with his scoring and rebounding including a 36-point outing.
