The DMN reported today that the reason that Wilkerson was sidelined was because of a hip pointer or something. Shouldn't be too serious.

Wilkerson played sparingly due to his hip pointer in a 10-3 victory over Bryan. DeSoto had very little offense although I don't know Wilkerson's individual stats. Reported Wilkerson was replaced by a Running Back at QB due to his injury.

No info on Wilkerson in DeSoto's 42-31 victory over Arlington. His backup may take his job when he returns from injury as the kid ran for 5 TDs last night and 148 yards.

guess we are going to have to catch up on Terrence Wilkerson because his team is still cruising in the playoffs after yesterday's Desoto 38 Abilene 35 win. Last week Wilkerson was about 7-10. This week he was 7-11 for 89 yards and one interception. He added 97 yards on 16 carries. DeSoto is led by one of the State's budding Junior RBs Cyrus Gray who ran for 256 yards on 22 carries. DeSoto advances to play a very talented undefeated (13-0) Cedar Hill team next week Also Chris Leribus' Richardson Berkner Rams were ousted from the playoffs 35-28 by Houston Klein Oak.
