This guy sounds like someone we should try to get. According to Rivals, high major coaches from across the United States have been spotted at Washington High School in Augusta, Mo., in order to get a closer look at Scott Suggs, the 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward. The list of schools that have dropped by to check in on Suggs, the No. 65 ranked player in the class of 2008, is quite impressive. North Carolina, Kansas, Illinois, Purdue, Missouri, St. Louis and Bradley have already been by to watch him practice. Suggs, who has a 3.6 GPA and is in the National Society of High School Scholars, averaged 19 points and 5 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

This guy has the GPA and background to easily get into SMU. He has not set a top 10 list so there is a chance to get a look from him. Wonder if Coach knows about him?

If I had to guess, I'd say Doherty knows about him, the kid isnt a secret. He plays for a good AAU team that showed well at most of the major summer tournaments, including one here in Texas. One of his AAU teammates, Alex Tyus, was a national top-50 player this year, coaches from pretty much every school in the country scouted their games. Suggs has been seen by everyone.

Does that mean SMU or that he can not score points?
