We have a great defensive line this year and what a fun team to be on in the future as our offense continues to develope. However, we will need big, fast, strong defensive tacles next year to add to the quality guys coming back. Any Junoir College defensive lineman considering yet ?

I think we should get a few of these guys because as the season goes on, it is going to be obvious to all of them that this team will be fun to play on.

Don't forget -- we will be getting Charlie Berry back next season. He is redshirting this year to get his grades up. We will have at least 4 DT's ready to play next season without recruiting or signing JUCO's.
DE's seem to be a tiny bit less in the depth department but who can argue a Muse/Handy tandem

We need to sign at least two DEs and at least DTs.
If the 2007 season started today, the DEs would be Muse and Handy starting, with Dizer and Griffin backing up. The starting DTs would be Parhap and Berry (I guess) starting, with Pryor, Thomas and Dollens backing up.
Gimme a couple of JUCOs, please.

Hasn't really gotten into the lineup until this year, but his frame alone would suggest he could be a reasonable sleeper. Trent Rogers here in East Texas; plays for Marshall Mavericks at DE, I believe.
I told his parents that they need to be working on film for him. He could be a good player at the college level. Too bad he is just now getting the chance to make a splash.

Roster for next year
DE-Thieren, Muse, Hardy, Griffin,Dizer, Johnson
DT- Parham, Pryor, Thomas, DeGroat, Dollens
Charlie Berry is no longer on the roster like he was pre-season. Brandon Jones, another academic casualty, is still on the roster. My guess is that CCharlie won't be back next year.

He isn't an academic casualty -- he is @ school getting his grades up. He'll be around next year.

I'm not as concerned about the DE position...especially if Muse comes back strong...but looks like a JUCO DT will be a key in this recruiting class. Too many FR in that returning group and too many (at least for now) undersized guys

At least two JC defensive linemen are a must!
