Here is a little write up about BCS transfers that have found a new home in CUSA.

"...linebacker James Francis (Baylor) and offensive lineman Josh Bell (Kansas), all of whom have stepped out of the BCS limelight and settled in at the Conference USA school. "

Michael Murphy must have chuckled when he wrote that. BCS shines bright at BU & KU.

I am surprised, Stallion. I thought you would have found that article, especially Bennett's comments, more irritating than anything else

the only fault I see in it is that they missed about the other half of the top players which this article didn't even mention.

You didn't find it odd that Bennett was commenting on something he has little experience with to date?

If I remember correctly, this is one of the ways that Stallion said the coaches "recruit" the potential transfers. You get the word out that you are interested in them.

nothing wrong with letting a recruit who has committed elsewhere know that your door will remain open. If SMU starts winning and develops a fan base that appreciates our players, that "free ride" to that expensive private school in Dallas may look better and better
