Joe still has us as medium interest...maybe with every QB on our roster leaving, Joe will like what he sees

He hasn't mentioned us in a couple of months in the actual stories written about Weatherford. Right now I think Ole Miss, UCF and Duke are his favorites

Joe is very interested in coming to SMU. His granddad was a Mustang, and he has a lot of family in Dallas, including Jamie Nolan who is a junior starting offensive lineman for HP. I get the impression that if we showed him a little love, he'd commit. Especially since there's nobody behind Willis.

He also has a younger brother (also a senior for Land O' Lakes) that I understand can play.

I'm getting a highlights video clip that I'll pass on to webmaster.

He camped at SMU last summer, but I hear he had a disappointing day. However, he has all the physical tools (6'3 , 4.8-40), is the highest rated (according to Rivals) Pro-Style QB in the nation (#28 QB nationally, #75 player in FL) that hasn't already signed, threw for 2150 yards, 20 TDs (10 pics) and had 60+% completion percentage. He also went deep in the FL state playoffs twice, but lost as a junior when he broke his shoulder (if I recall correctly) and as a senior when his receivers got suspended (sound familiar?).

Stallion,

Joe hasn't mentioned us because we haven't been talking to him. Evidently, the coaches didn't hardly even want to say the word 'recruit' until the Rice game was over. Now they're all on the road and recruiting is full speed ahead.

You can only recruit off campus on 6 designated days between September and November 26th-so that's nothing to be alarmed at.
