Bell has attended Wilmer Hutchins, then Arlington Grace(I believe) and this year Hillcrest. Pint size at about 5-9, 157 listed at 4.4 (4.6 confirmed at a Nike camp) but considered a nice CB/WR prospect. He has two close friends at Kansas but he had some very positive comments about SMU based upon a visit this week. Favorites right now are Kansas, SMU and Tulsa but he also mentions Baylor who is at 25 commitments right now. Rated 5.3 with offers from Baylor, CSU, SMU, TCU, UTEP, and Tulsa. Has a nice 3.5 GPA

"I think Kansas will be the next stop," Bell said. "I'm also still interested in Baylor and as a matter of fact, I really like SMU. I had a coach come visit me at my house and talk to my parents. It would be close to home and that's a good thing.

"I just liked what they had to tell me about SMU."

If this guy's 4.4 is accurate, I want to see him at SMU. Yes, there are other 4.4 runners out there who can't play, but this guy sounds like he has legitimate talent, too. So if that speed is legit .... sign him up!

I'm a big fan of Flea, but if this kid's 4.4 is legitimate, he's faster than Warren.

Was at W-H coaching football this kids sophomore year. Very quality. Great kid with a good head on his shoulders and has a nose for the football. If it is in the air he will find it. Oh I almost forgot, he is small but he will bring every ounce he has to hit you. I really liked him a lot and would like to see him come to the Hilltop.
