Elizee a "DT with 'unbelievable' motor "(6-1, 298), originally out of Miami's Coral Reef High, holds offers from Washington State, SMU, Marshall, New Mexico and three other schools could be on the verge -- BYU stopped in to talk Monday, Louisville comes by for an in-home or at-school visit next week
Elizee will be joined on the official visit [to Washingston State] by two of his junior college teammates -- corner Woodny Turenne and strong safety Marshon Royal. Visit
Heck, SMU will take them too.

Damn beat me! Only thing to add is that he visits Washington St. this weekend and Marshall next weekend. His goal is to major in Business. Mid-year JUCO with 3 years to play 2. No frontrunner at this time. Presently at College of the Sequoias

Rivals has Elizee in their Database but no rating or recruiting story. They confirmed all 4 offers and list him at 6-1, 310 4.9 unconfirmed.

Saw at least one website that had Woodny Turenne listed as the No. 1 JUCO player in the country at any position.

This is the guy I was alluding to last week.
Lived in Florida before going to the College of the Sequoias, but I don't think he was born there. I think he's originally from the Domincan Republic.

Okay, I'd feel alot better about our D line having someone like this next year. Good luck on recruiting.

Right island, wrong nation -- he's Haitian.
Supposedly he likes warm/hot weather, so I hope it's miserably cold on his Washington State visit

Does that mean if he does not commit to SMU he can go to He--?

With the departure of Haywood and Bonds, doesn't this guy (or someone just like him) become priority Number 1?
Getting a JUCO here would be ideal because he'd be physically more mature, and could enroll in January, giving him the chance to take part in the all-important spring drills.
Go get him, coaches!

UPDATE: the Marshall Rivals site did an obvious follow up story-and gleaned some additional info. Elizee did in fact visit SMU first last week before his scheduled visits to WSU and Marshall. He said "I liked it at SMU. Dallas is a cool place and the football program seemed solid to me." Nevertheless Elizee said he was wideopen.

Rumor has it this is down to us and Washington State..
For what it's worth, he supposedly likes warm weather, and while it wasn't exactly balmy when he visited here, it looks worse in Pullman, Washington (where WSU is). According to weather.com, Saturday is supposed to bring a high of 39 degrees with rain and snow "showers" (what's a snow shower?), and Sunday is supposed to be more of the same. Hope he has a miserable time up there, and calls Coach Bennett with the good news Sunday night!

I'd be worried that some more schools are going to get involved with this kid as mentioned in the stories just days ago. And he sure didn't sound like it was down to SMU and WSU. In one story he said there was no frontrunner and in another he said he was wideopen.

If you are ever in a snow shower you wil recognize it.
