Killer Frogs.com someone reported that DT Scott Milburn out of Houston was only listing TCU and SMU as choices. Milburn is in Rivals DT Database but unranked showing 6' 0" 274, and a 5.07 forty. He played at a private Houston school. Do we have any interest in this guy ?

He might be a walk-on type player. TCU and SMU might be trying to get him to come as a walk-on. I don't see the Frogs or us using a schollie on this guy.

That was my feeling as we have not had a great deal of success giving scholarships to unproven unranked private school players.

Also based on their rating system he is our 2nd highest rated recuit at 77, trailing only Bell and ahead of Big Josh, both of whom have comitted.

[quote="MustangIcon"][quote="Grider"]Does ESPN/Scout have him as the #23 ranked DT in the country, or am I reading that wrong?

Amazing rating for a DT from a private Texas high school. Insider now says he is 6' 1" 280 who is explosive off the ball, 5 second forty. Hey Stallion, any other info. on this guy ?

Hey who was the guy we signed back in the 1990s from a private school in the Dallas area who did start for SMU for about 3 years ? The guy was a DB and seriously I think he actually played in the NFL a year or two.

I think that would be Cary Brabham.

Speeking of Cory Brabham, I remember he actually PLAYED in the NFL also. I believe Brabham was an Oakland Raider DB.
