Offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus was an early commitment for SMU and stuck by the Mustangs despite some negative recruiting by other schools.

"He had a lot of people give him a really hard time about it," his mother, Debbie, said. "He held on, though. The pressure didn't get to him."

Very refreshing to talk to Josh through this process. As arguably SMU's highest-profile recruit (or certainly one of them), there were a lot of teams interested in getting him to switch his commitment. But from the first time I talked with him (in August, I think), he never once souncded like he was wavering, even a little. You see recruits say "once I made a commitment, that was it" .... and with LeRibeus, it was very believable.
