QB Yogi Gallegos Commits to TCU

I know SMU was at least looking closely at him-plays for Bennett's brother at Irving. I believe he been to our camps. My question is that Irving went 0-10 last year after being a playoff team for several years. Seems surprising he is considered such a good prospect when he couldn't lead his team to a single victory. What am I missing?

Probably due to his strong showing at the recent Nike camp at TCU.
Comments were that he showed great agility, speed, footwork, a
strong arm and good accuracy. Rivals indicates interest from Miami,
Nebraska, Alabama, Baylor, SMU and LSU. Gallegos is 6'1" 175 (4.57)
