Big TE still likes SMU
Posted: Fri Jun 15, 2007 5:32 pmInteresting quote from Prosper (Texas) TE Taylor Thompson (6-6, 230), who already has more than 15 offers, including from some top programs (SMU, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Wake Forest, Utah, UCLA, South Carolina, Purdue, Louisville, Virginia, etc.) Says he could play TE or DE, but prefers to play TE at the college level.
On SMU - “I love that they are really close to home so my family could come and see me play and also really like that they have one of the best business schools in the country there. I am going down this week to meet with the coaching staff and get to know them a bit better which is exciting.â€
He has good things to say about some other schools, too, but he sounds fairly positive.
